Terms + Conditions

The following terms help set expectations for custom projects, online purchases, and studio services.

Custom Orders

Custom projects typically require a deposit before production begins. Production schedules are confirmed once artwork, quantities, garments and project details have been approved and received.

Because every custom project is made specifically for each client, custom orders can not be returned or exchanged once production has started.

Artwork Approval

Clients are responsible for reviewing and approving all artwork, spelling, sizing, colors and placement before production begins.

Approval of a proof confirms authorization to proceed with production. Sonoma Ink + Thread is not responsible for errors that were present in an approved proof.

Production Timelines

Production timelines vary depending on project size, product availability, and seasonality. Estimated completion dates are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed.

We'll do our best to communicate any delays or changes as soon as possible.

Vintage + One-of-a-Kind Goods

Many Ink + Thread items are vintage, repurposed or one-of-a-kind.

Signs of age, wear, fading, repairs and imperfections are considered part of the character of these pieces and should be expected. All sales of vintage and one-of-a-kind items are final.

Returns + Exchanges

Because all of our sales are custom decorated, vintage or one-of-a-kind, we do not offer returns or exchanges unless it's a legitimate manufacturers defect and reported within 5 days of reciept.

Shipping or Local Pick Up

Once an order has been shipped, delivery times are the responsibility of the carrier. Sonoma Ink + Thread is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, weather or circumstances beyond our control. We do offer local pick up at check out if you are in the Sonoma area.

Intellectual Property

Clients are responsible for ensuring they have the legal right to use any logos, trademarks, artwork, or designs submitted for production.

Sonoma Ink + Thread reserves the right to decline any project that may infringe on the intellectual property rights of others.

Project Acceptance

We reserve the right to decline projects that fall outside our capabilities, production standards or values.
